Fellow colleagues and South Africans have taken to social media to express their sadness and shock over the death of Top Billing presenter Simba Mhere.
The charismatic 26-year-old died in a car accident on Saturday morning. He was en route to OR Tambo International Airport to
attend the J&B Met taking place in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.
Mhere joined Top Billing in 2010 after winning the presenter search
He and a friend were killed when a vehicle they were travelling in collided with VW polo at the William Nicol Drive. His father survived.
The Zimbabwe born presenter joined Top Billing in 2010 after winning the presenter search. His emotional manager Lorraine Meizel says, “He was going places. He was the most amazing human being. Gentle, kind, loving, honest and hardworking. He was everything; he was the most extraordinary person.”
