Their sound could be easily mistaken for Gospel music, but the Durban based foursome is all about reflecting on the ins and outs of day to day life through their music which can be heard on their 15 track recording titled Thuli.
The album is titled after the composers ex-wife. Lead vocalist, Malusi Gwala, says the song “Thuli” has sentimental history behind it. The recording is made up of a laid back mix of simple compositions and a nostalgic yet present sound.
Beam Brothers was established in 1955 in Mpumalanga as a family group and later transformed and added new members.
